The Industrial Coatings Systems (ICS) business, headquartered in Amherst, Ohio, provides both standard and highly-customized equipment used primarily for applying powder and liquid coatings, adhesives and sealants. This segment, which was 12% of Nordson’s total revenue in fiscal 2021, primarily serves the industrial capital equipment and consumer durables markets, helping customers improve their manufacturing processes and bring new products globally.

About Amherst Local 1802 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM)

Nordson ICS is currently in negotiations with Local 1802 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).  Approximately 130 Nordson ICS employees are members of the union.  The negotiation of this union contract takes place every three years.  Nordson ICS values its good working relationship with Local 1802 and looks forward to a mutually beneficial continuation of this labor contract.
